Our associates are not full-time employees who must be marketed to cover operating costs. They are independent specialists with specific skills to satisfy identified client needs. All associates' programs, presentation skills, materials and services are carefully evaluated before an associate is assigned to any client engagement. Education Design Group, Inc. is responsible and accountable for the results of the engagement.

The purpose of the associates' program is to marshal external resources, offering a well-developed network of specialists, who can bring their particular skills to bear on a client need.

As a research and design specialist, she develops and implements customized programs to satisfy specific client needs. Verna has a master's degree in speech communications and was an adjunct professor for North Carolina State University's College of Engineering. She brings high enthusiasm, exceptional speaking skills and a unique blend of consulting, academic and business experience to her consulting and training engagements. Verna is director of Catalyst Development Strategies.
 is a Communications Consultant with extensive experience teaching presentation skills, writing, and communication skills at colleges and universities in North Carolina, South Carolina, and New York. Leslie combines her teaching skills with her on-the-job experience as a network television executive, advertising executive, and journalist to deliver an exciting and targeted program. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of communication challenges ensure a successful training experience. Leslie holds a master’s degree in communication and a bachelor’s degree in journalism, both from New York University. Over the past twenty years, Bo has been involved in training and leadership development with corporate and non-profit institutions. He is widely published, having written over fifty articles, numerous book chapters, and two books. His latest book is a co-authored work, 501 One Minute Motivators for Leaders. Don, a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), is a senior level Human Resources professional with over thirty-three years of HR experience in diverse environments ranging from Fortune 200 to privately held companies. He is an enthusiastic, goal-oriented problem solver with a demonstrated history of significant achievement in the Human Resources area.  Chuck Thurston is a specialist in organizational dynamics and transformational leadership.
